Scheduling

One additional note. The scheduling will open up in a week for people to start placing their sessions. A few points.

  1. Don’t worry about not being able to attend every session. Ideally, there will be multiple people in each session recording the sessions in audio and video. Go to the sessions that appeal most to you, and catch the rest later on in the feed or on the PodCamp Plus DVD.
  2. Presenters – I doubt I need to say this, but I will anyway. Please do NOT remove someone else’s session from the scheduler if the slot that you want is taken. Edit only in the blank spaces. (like I said, I probably didn’t need to say it, but I did)
  3. Presenters – please begin posting your session notes now! You can create a link on the sessions page to your session and put your notes in it (example). If you have slides, please start prepping those now. I encourage you to distribute your session information in advance of PodCamp for two reasons – first, so that people can get a feel for what your session is about, and second, so that people can give you feedback as well.
  4. Participants – please give session presenters feedback! Let them know what you want to hear and see at PodCamp. Remember, ultimately at an xCamp like PodCamp, YOU are responsible for the experience you have. Organizers like myself will provide the infrastructure, the venue, and things, but the content and the experience is up to you. Take charge of what you want to get out of the conference!
